Car Free Exploring

We have excellent facilities for anyone travelling to or from Berwick. It takes a little planning in advance, but you really can leave the car behind when you choose to visit Berwick!

Whether you would like a day trip by rail to Edinburgh or a Holy Island or “Coast and Castles” bus ride there are plenty of places for you to visit using public transport.

From Berwick-upon-Tweed there are direct rail and coach routes to the Midlands, the South and the South West, as well as to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the North of Scotland.

Our railway station is now officially titled a “public transport interchange”, providing local bus links to the towns of the Scottish Borders and southwards through Northumberland.
